Nido Book Club

FREE VIRTUAL COMMUNITY
Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 7:00pm PT

The Nido Individual & Family Therapy Book Club is a community space for curious minds, tender hearts, and thoughtful conversation. Rooted in Nido’s values of depth, connection, and care, the club is a gathering place for ALL: therapists, clients, and community members alike who want to engage with books that nourish insight and spark dialogue.

This is not an academic book club. It’s a relational, supportive space where members can:

  • Reflect on themes of healing, liberation, and identity.

  • Share personal insights, resonances, and challenges that arise while reading.

  • Connect with others who value growth, community, and authentic conversation.

  • Explore books that deepen our understanding of ourselves, each other, and the world.

  • Open, process-oriented conversation. We honor questions, reflections, and lived experience as much as the text itself.

  • A different book is chosen each month to reflect themes central to Nido’s work — liberation, identity, relationships, spirituality, grief, and more.

Members are invited to join our GroupMe chat, where conversation continues between gatherings. In the chat, you can:

    • Share reflections or favorite quotes.

    • Ask questions sparked by the text.

    • Post related articles, poems, or thoughts.

    • Stay connected in a kind, respectful, and supportive space.

  • This is a space where:

    • Everyone’s voice matters.

    • There is no “right” way to engage with the reading.

    • Curiosity is more important than expertise.

    • We come together not to fix or perform, but to reflect, learn, and grow alongside one another.

  • The Nido IFT Book Club is free and donation-based.

You are welcome to join, whether or not you contribute financially. If you feel moved to donate, you can give what feels right for you. Contributions help sustain the group and keep it accessible to all.
