Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Advocate for Mental Health Equity & Social Justice
Sarah Finch, M.A. LMFT is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and the Founder of the psychotherapy practice Nido Individual & Family Therapy, based in Southern California, with a mission to make quality mental health care an inevitability for all people — not an afterthought like systemic factors make it for so many.
As a neurodivergent Colombian woman who has experienced cycles of generational trauma firsthand, Sarah knows what it’s like to navigate systems that are not built for anyone with marginalized identities like hers — and the potential of transformative justice and therapy to not break those cycles of harm but radically dismantle and reclaim them.
With a rich background encompassing 7 years of direct clinical experience and over 10 years in the field itself, Sarah approaches her speaking and educational opportunities as she does her clinical work, with an attuned, compassionate, and nuanced approach. In her educational work, just as with therapy clients, she takes true human needs and realities into account and makes space for the hope that growth, self-discovery, and change are possible.
Sarah's nurturing demeanor, extensive clinical experience, and personal commitment to self-exploration bring a well-considered, multi-dimensional perspective to her speaking engagements.
