Kate is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and the Clinical Director at Nido Individual & Family Therapy, supporting the clinical team with supervision, case consultation, and management, while also working with her own caseload of clients.
She is a dedicated and compassionate clinician with a profound commitment to fostering a safe emotional space for clients on their therapeutic journey. Kate brings 8 years of experience from diverse therapeutic environments, such as social services offices, treatment centers, and private practices. Her extensive background in psychotherapy equips her to support our clinical team with both expertise and care.
In her own clinical efforts, Kate works most often with males facing obstacles with emotional expression and intimacy. Ultimately, she is passionate about breaking longstanding stereotypes surrounding therapy, challenging preconceptions about what therapy is and who it's for.
One of Kate's defining principles is her commitment to meeting clients exactly where they are in their journey. Recognizing the beauty in the uniqueness of each individual, she values the diverse approaches her clients bring to the therapeutic process.
Kate emphasizes working at the client's pace, whether it involves deep existential exploration, slow and situational questioning, or anything in between.

In her personal time, Kate enjoys running, reading poetry, exploring men’s fashion, and spending time in nature with the people she loves.
