Raquelle is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Nido IFT, currently accepting new clients in California!

Raquelle is known to meet clients where they are in a non-judgmental manner. Working from a womanist, afro-indigenous, and liberation framework, they will sit with you during times of uncertainty and celebration. Raquelle believes in Alice Walker's word, "healing begins where the wound was made," which is why her clinical training has led her through a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic fellowship, somatic attachment certification, and specialization in trauma.

As a Black Latinx who holds many marginalized identities, Raquelle has provided care for immigrants, homeless, neurodivergent, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals (14+), couples, and older adults. Also in their journey, she has been a teacher, a writer, a creative entrepreneur, and a nanny to name a few of their professions. Their work within the classroom and with members of the community is what finally pushed her to settle into a clinical career.

Raquelle knows that this is the best thing they have ever done, and they can't wait to hold space for you during this part of your life. They invite you to bring your authentic self into the room. Whether you are working on body image and self-esteem, through midlife transitions, or sexual issues, Raquelle feels honored to witness it all.

Outside of session, Raquelle enjoys reading, writing, going to concerts, eating their way around LA, and taking her dogs on adventures.
