Rebeca Olguin
Licensed Therapist
(she/her)
Rebeca is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist currently accepting English and Spanish speaking clients in California virtually and in person at the Manhattan Beach office location.
Rebeca is a first-generation Hispanic therapist with nearly a decade of experience in the mental health world. Her approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and flexibility, meeting clients exactly where they are without judgment. After 10+ years in the field and many years of working in agency settings, Rebeca transitioned into private practice to offer clients a deeper, more intentional space to reflect, feel, and grow.
Rebeca works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, including systemic trauma and difficult early environments. Rebeca helps clients name and understand their symptoms, validate their emotional experiences, and take manageable steps toward healing, whether that’s through deepening self-awareness, building coping tools, or learning to rest and invest back into themselves.
Rebeca has a particular passion for working with young people who feel unheard or overwhelmed in systems where they often lack control. She advocates for clients to use their voice and know that their feelings and experiences matter — regardless of age.
With her adult clients, Rebeca often explores themes of identity, parenthood, guilt, self-worth, and the pressure to be “on” all the time. She gently challenges clients to slow down, reflect on the stories they’ve inherited, and learn to offer themselves the kind of care they may have never received.
Rebeca also brings a deep understanding of cultural identity, working closely with Spanish-speaking clients and honoring the complexities of growing up in immigrant families. As the proud daughter of immigrant parents, she knows how powerful it is to have a safe space where culture, language, and generational beliefs are understood.
She also enjoys working with men who are learning to embrace vulnerability, challenge outdated narratives of masculinity, and show up more fully in their lives and relationships.
Rebeca’s approach is relational and down-to-earth, always leaving room for humor, lightness and real connection. She believes therapy doesn’t have to be overly serious to be effective and adapts to what each client needs, showing up as a real person, not just a professional. Rebeca’s ultimate goal is to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and truly supportive.
For Rebeca, therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis. It’s also a space to explore who you are, where you come from, and who you’re becoming. For her, it's an honor to walk alongside someone, no matter where they are on their path.
When not in the therapy room, you can find Rebeca looking for ice cream somewhere or deep-diving into the latest TV series.
